Thanks for dropping by and checking out TicaToca. I (being Ronnie) & he (being Andrew) created and launched TicaToca in August 2009 because a friend asked me (being Ronnie) a question that I didn't have the answer to:

'Where can I buy a gift that's unique and not on the high street?'

After spending hours flicking through blogs and online stores I came a'croppa and gave up. It's not that there aren't cool, unique gifts out there; the problem I found is being able to go to one place that shared a collection of unique and, in some cases, one-off gifts that were easy to find and purchase.

When I spoke to a few people about it, I quickly realised that finding unique gifts came as a bit of a frustration to some people, so, me being a web designer & Andrew being a super-monstrous coder put pen to paper, eye to code, designed, built & launched TicaToca as part of our 5149 project.

There are four main parts to TicaToca: Today's Gift, Top 20 Gifts, Find Gifts & My Gifts. You can save all the gifts you've ever wanted onto your My Gift page; these gifts can be from TicaToca & anywhere else on the web. You can also share these gifts with friends & family before your gift day with our auto-reminder alert that shows all your friends & family the gifts you really want.

We showcase a new gift everyday on Today's Gift, which we auto-send to our members & you can follow by RSS, Twitter & Facebook; You can check out the Top 20 gifts on TicaToca as voted by you guys and you can find a unique gift to add to your gift page & buy online by checking out TicaToca's database of gifts. On top of that we've added sharing & commenting so that you can tell your side of the story on the gifts featured.

All the gifts on TicaToca have been hand picked, so, there are NO robots finding these unique gifts for you.
